There are some situations that will come and it will cause you to ask the question... Can it ever be over?
It seems like as one is leaving, another one is coming. Then the weight seems unbearable and you knock out.
At that moment, you won't even remember you are a Christian and all you seek for is solution. In the search of solution, you begin to move away from the truth. Knowing fully well that the way isn't the right way but you just want to break out. Then, it looks like the more you are breaking out, the more nothing seems to change because more challenges keeps coming.
Sometimes, you feel like God has forgotten you because you have confessed that you need His help yet, your heart want "Do it fast solution".
Mostly, the problem is in our confession and mind.
I remembered some times in my life. I found it difficult to trust God, even when people shout and say trust in God. I pray, worship and study but deeply within me I knew I was struggling to trust God. Yet, my heart sincerely want to trust Him. During those period, I got to realize... Trusting God doesn't comes by saying it alone. Your mind must trust God too. I realized my confession and my mind were opposing each other.
My mouth was saying "God help me to trust you" but my mind was thinking of how to quickly deal with the challenges (solution) and I was asking myself can it be over?
As believers, I want you to understand that giving your life to Christ doesn't guarantee you that challenge or crises won't come.
You will definitely face them but I want your confession and mind to tarry together. There must be a connection with the words of your mouth and your mind. There is power in what you think and what you confess. God must see the connection.
When you say you love God, let your mind also confirm it. As a man thinketh, so it is.
I want you to know that whatever you are facing will be over. Check your thoughts and confession towards the situation. Regulate them and see how God will work over that situation.
God wants us to trust Him with the words of our mouth and our mind. Don't just trust Him by words, leaving your mind. Carry Him along in your mind. It's a proof of how much you totally depend on Him.
God wants you to involve Him not just in your mouth but also in your mind.
