LETTING HIM GO


It was a sunny day at the ATM stand, the sun was scorching.“I felt like sitting down.” Hannah said, but she could not as she was the next person at the queue so she just had to endure. After collecting the money, she moved out of the bank and immediately, a guy from the queue followed her.

She perceived someone was following her. Then she turned back and she met a tall, handsome, black man with a great sense of dressing. In short, he was her type. He was looking and walking towards her direction. She tried hiding her smiles and behaved well but before she could say anything, he said “Hello , how are you doing? My name is David”. Then he stretched forth his hand. She received it and she said her name was Hannah. They had a brief discussion about each other. Also,they exchanged contacts and boarded the same bus.

Arriving home, Hannah could not stop thinking about him. She was moving happily around the her room until something on the wall brought her back. They are quotes birthed through meditation and from the scriptures. It was something that she loves to write out because it keeps her moving.  Then, she remembered she had not studied the word. she thought of what was wrong with her because this was not her first time of meeting cute men. She became angry and told herself such thing won't repeat itself and she made sure, she didn't go against her words.

Early in the morning, it was a call that woke her up not the alarm. She stood up in an angry mood to pick the call and she told the person to call back as she dropped the phone. Hannah tried her best to sleep, but she could not. Then she decided to have her quiet time. She knew it was time to commune with her Father. After her everyday activities, she decided to get somethings in the mall but before she stepped out, her phone rang. It was David, she picked it and they discussed and he asked her to meet him which she agreed. She locked her door and went for the discussion.

They had a lot of fun, she enjoyed herself but there was something bothering her, she was also scared not to go against God's will. The best way she could regain her joy is at the secret place, where she discussed with her Father. Though she was a woman who had stayed long, she still didn't want to believe that he was the right person. She didn't want to go against God's will for her life. It is going to be dangerous.

David was a church goer, he wasn't spiritual. She can't say because of her own wants, she should go against her Father's will. She decided to let him go. She loves God and was ready to drop everything that was not part of his direction for her life. This was a test she concluded.

Let go and let God do what is best, even though we must go through test. Let go and let faith work all things out, even though we may have some doubt. *Let the spirit of God guide and lead lest we forget our spiritual needs.* Let go and let trust do its part, even though we may have wavering hearts and let Christ give you perfect rest, so he can show us how much we are blessed.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me..
