WHY


"Hmmm. What's going to happen now" Zoe said as she keeps scrolling through her phone forgetting she has a roommate.

Tade coughed down to make her realize someone is in the room
"What do you mean by what's going to happen?

"Ooh no, I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to myself" Zoe said

"We both know that's not true Zoe. Spill it out, what's bothering you?" Tade insisted

"Why is it that everyone is doing something? It's making it look as if we that are not doing anything, are not serious with our lives" Zoe said

"What do you mean you that is not doing anything, if I may ask? Tade asked

"I mean posting something's, having ministry. At least something for people to see that you are moving " Zoe said

"I sincerely don't get. What about your evangelism unit?
The teens children department you are handling, what are you doing about it? Or what do you call that? Ehn answer me Zoe" Tade said

Dear sisters,
There's life beyond social media. What do you call ministry? Is it until you do something online and people see before you know you are making progress or impact

If you are thinking like that, you really need to change that mindset. Your unit in church, what have you done with it?
Your department I'm school what have you done with it
Even your friends, what are you doing with them?

Ministry is not all about flier or anchoring a program
Ministry is you and what you do to/with the people surrounding you and in your own corner.

I hope you won't be evaluating yourself with what you see online. There are minister with social media handle and are blessing souls where they are. Whatever is committed to you, do it right and put in your best

GOD SLOWS YOU DOWN

​ Sometimes God slows you down so He can show you what you were too busy to notice.  There was a season in my life when everything felt like it was moving backwards. Plans that once flowed easily began to stumble. Doors I thought would open effortlessly suddenly became heavy. I kept asking, “God, why are You slowing me down when I’m finally ready to run?” But the more I struggled to push forward, the more life insisted that I pause. And in that stillness,  the one I didn’t choose  I started to see what I had been too busy to notice. I noticed the habits that were draining my strength. I noticed the people who clapped for me publicly but resented me privately. I noticed the warning signs I had ignored because I was too focused on getting ahead. I noticed me, the me I had been neglecting. God wasn’t punishing me. He was protecting me. He was whispering, “Slow down. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
