Why do trials follow me each day?
Each time I think it's over, the storm comes in more
Why do struggles seem to find their way?
I have to keep praying against shame and disappointment
I'm a child of God, I love Him sincerely,
But difficulties persist, what am I to do?
In faith, I stand, in love, I cling,
Yet challenges mount, and doubts creep in.
The world outside seems hostile and cold,
But still, I hold on to promises untold.
The Bible says, "I'll never leave you nor forsake,"
But in the midst of trials, it's hard to Believe.
I'm told to trust, to have faith and be strong,
But when the road gets rough, my heart feels wrong.
I feel alone,
I feel helpless.
Why do the wicked seem to prosper and thrive?
Live the good, luxurious life
While I, a child of God, struggle to survive?
Struggle to feed,
Live in debt and running each day,
The questions swirl, the doubts they creep,
But still, I choose to trust, to hold on and keep.
Yet, I still live in fear
Dear Beloved,
In the fire, you are refined, purified and made new,
A testimony of faith, for you to break through.
The difficulties, they shape, mold and refine you,
A vessel of honor, for God's glory to shine.
So hold on to faith,
It might not be easy but trust in His plan,
Though the journey's tough, He'll take your hand.
For in the darkness, there's a light that shines,
A promise of hope, a love that's divine.
Be reassured, you might not get your answers immediately,
But you are never alone in the journey
