Part 7

The appointed excos waited after the grace, as everyone came to congratulate and pray for them

"Bro Pamilerin.... Are we fighting? Adedayo, the president said and smiled as he crossed him

"No, I just have somethings to do at home. Congratulations, I pray God continue to strengthen and be with you" Pamilerin said as he was about to leave.

"Haha...haba. Not too fast now. I actually want to see you but maybe some other time because you seem to be in an hurry" Adedayo said

"Yes sir...thank you for understanding sir" bro Pamilerin said

"Seriously Pamilerin, I don turn sir now. Please o, I am still the humble Adedayo o. I am still your loyal friend" Adedayo said

"Na so, I must to respect you o. I respect the anointing of God in your life sir. It's not easy to be the pressy. Sir, I have to go now" Pamilerin said

"No problem. I will see you later" Adedayo said as Pastor Gbenro called them as they all sat down.

"I congratulate you all. Now, i want you to know the position is not for you to dominate but coordinate. Respect each other and the members too. No office is less, so don't look down on anyone. We don't have much time and I really wish I can say all but, we will be having a retreat and vigil. 

Let's all be available and no excuse. Pressy and V.p make sure, you get everyone's number and open a group chat. Before next week, we should have our retreat. The VP will communicate the time and day. I pray God strengthen you more for the journey ahead" he said and prayed for them.

"Amen" they all chorused as he left.

The pressy announced for a short meeting, before leaving finally

"Hello Sirs and Mas. I am Adedayo Ejiwunmi and I want us to know it's God grace to be chosen among others. I pray, the grace, knowledge, wisdom and understanding to run the race to the end, God will surely give unto us in Jesus' name" He said as Sarah, the VP passed a note around for their bio data

"Amen" they all said

"Okay now, I want us to do a brief introduction by our names and position alone. With time, we shall get to know each other better" he said and smiled as they all stood up accordingly, for the introduction.

After the introduction, he asked the VP to pray for them and she did as they greeted each other.

When Sarah and Deborah were about to leave, bro Yemi the brother's cord came to Debby and her phone rang

"Sorry, bro Yemi can we talk later because, this call will take a long time and I don't want to delay you?" she said

"Okay, no problem. We can chat online" he said and smiled. 

As she was about to pick the call the 2nd time, bro James called her. She waved to him, without even knowing the reason he called her and picked her call

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
