I LOVE HIM


Part 3

After eating and relaxing for a while, her mother called her.

"It's time to go Debby" mother said

"See you later sis" Debby said to Sarah as she left the room

"I will be back dear. It's time for rehearsal" mother said to her husband

"Oh, I also have a meeting to attend. We shall see later. Don't stress yourself much" father said as Deborah coughed

"I won't, bye" mother said and they left

 
*THE CHURCH* 

Getting to the church, the door was opened and the choristers were all present. Some were discussing and some were busy singing the song. Immediately Sarah and her mother stepped in, all their activities stopped and they greeted her

"Good evening my beloved family. How are we all doing? She asked as James (the choir master son) came out to greet her.

"We are all fine ma" the chorused and smiled

"Wow...sis Sarah, it's nice to have you around. How are you doing? Bro James asked

"I am doing fine sir" Sarah said feeling shy as she went to meet her friends who were winking at her.

"Mummy, e ku itoju wa (Thank you for taking care of us)" James said and she faced him

"James, adupe lowo olorun (All thanks to God). Moreover, why are you here? Where is your father? She asked

"He received an urgent call immediately he got here ma. So, he told me to represent him" James said

"Okay, that means you will be part of us for now. I believe you know the song and you have scored it" she asked him

"Yes mummy. The title is, More Than A Song by Dunsin Oyekan" he said

"Yes, that is settled. Let's start" she said as she gathered everyone and led the opening prayer.

After the prayers, she assigned James as the lead singer and she coordinated everyone in their parts. James took the song and everyone joined when needed.

Mrs olabode was happy because they all scored their parts well. Not only that, the song also passed a message across to them as words of prophecy were released during the rehearsal. She instructed them, to take the song twice and end it.

"Wow, God bless you so much. Thank you for being obedient and  committed all these years. As we all know, the youth church will be opened tomorrow and new executives will be appointed. So, this will be our last rehearsal for every youth and teenagers here. I love you all and keep representing Christ always. God will surely reward you all" she said

"Awwn..we love you too mummy and we are going to miss you" they all shouted as she smiled

"Don't worry, we are still together. The difference is only our service. Okay, for tomorrow James and Sarah will be leading us in praise and worship. So, you both should meet after the prayers and decide who will take the praise and who will take the worship. Thank you" she said as Fiyin led the prayer. 

Immediately, after the prayers James and Sarah met and they could not discuss much because of time. So, they exchanged numbers and decided to settle that later.

"And for costume, we should dress in our corporate wears. Thank you so much for coming, till we meet again" she said

"Keep the fire burning" they all replied her as Debby quickly greeted her friends before going home.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up. This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay.
