OYINADE

PART 2

"Did I ask anything that is bad or am I wrong for asking that, please tell me? Segun, one of the reporters asked confusedly

"No, there is nothing wrong with the question" Bisi said as they were all surprised by her reactions

"Maybe, it wasn't a good time to ask such questions. Let's go, we will ask another time. Maybe by then, it will be the right time" Tunji said and they all left.

Oyinade was still confused in the car. "It's been long, I heard such question. Why now? She said to herself as she was fighting back the tears

"No ..Oyinade, you are trying your best. You are doing well without her or do you want to go back to your mess. You don't need her" she said consoling herself

"Ma, we've gotten to your apartment" the driver said

"Thank you sir" she said and got down from the car.

*******************************

Oyinade is a 200l mass communication student of a private university. She worked as a cleaner in a big organization, before meeting her guardian parents, Mr and Mrs Tokunbo.

They meet her at the office and asked few things about herself and they were moved to help her, and they took her in. They took care of her and sponsored her education. Though, they haven't given birth to theirs.

Oyinade was in the house, lost in thought when her phone rang. She check the caller...."No oooo, I hope she haven't heard about what happened " she said and picked her call

"Hello mummy... Good afternoon ma" Oyinade greeted

"How are you my darling and how did the interview go? Mrs Tokunbo asked

"I am fine and the interview went well" She said

"Oyinade your voice doesn't sound well. Did anything happen? Mrs Tokunbo asked. Oyinade kept silent as several thoughts were flowing in her mind

"Oh, why did I lie? I hope she haven't heard about what happened? I could have just told her the truth, now I am ashamed of myself. I don't even know what to say"

"Oyinade, are you still with me? Mrs Tokunbo asked

" Yes ma" she said

"So, I am asking you again. Did anything happen? Mrs Tokunbo asked

"Mummy,.... She couldn't finish her statement and she started crying

"Oyin,  where are you? Are you at home? Mrs Tokunbo asked

"Yes ma" Oyinade said

"Okay, stay where you are. I will ask Dele to come and pick you" Mrs Tokunbo said

"Okay mummy, thank you ma" Oyinade said

This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay. A daily reminder That you have made it so far already, That you haven't given up, And you are going to be amazing. Don't give up. Keep holding on and believing.  It's a start of a new year and it's too early to feel pressured or insecure God cannot fail you, Be persist in that Job hunt Be persist in trusting God  Be expectant, don't loose guard  Everything will fall in place...
