OYINADE

PART 3

"Dele!!! Mrs Tokunbo shouted

"Yes mummy" dele said as he ran from outside

"I hope you are not busy? She asked

"No ma, I was only resting until I heard my name" he said and smiled

"Okay, please I want you to help me pick oyinade from school. I believe you know where she stay? She asked

" Yes mummy. Should I go now? He asked

"Yes, thank you" she said and he left

"God please, let nothing happen to Oyinade. Prevent her from taking any drastic movement" she prayed and after some minutes, she picked her phone and called her husband as she explained everything to him

 *HOURS LATER*

Dele arrived at her place, and he knocked the door

"Who is that? Oyinade asked

"Aunty Oyin, it's Dele. Mummy sent me to pick you" Dele said

"Oh...Dele, I am coming" She said and picked few clothes. They both entered the car and Dele began to drive.

Since the atmosphere was  silent, Dele decided to ask.

"Aunty Oyin, how are you doing and how is school going?

"Thank you Mr Dele, I am fine and school is going fine" Oyinade said

"But you are looking sad like you always do. I am sorry, if I sound harsh but that is just the truth. I hope you aren't angry? Dele askef

"No, it's fine at least someone has been noticing me. I am glad you did. Thank you Mr Dele" Oyin said.

He was shocked at her response and wanted to ask more questions but they have gotten home.

"Thank you Mr Dele" she said and smiled falsely. He nodded his head in response.

Mrs Tokunbo was in the sitting room, waiting for her and was also praying within her.

"Hello mummy" Oyinade said as she opened the door. She put on a smile that got Mrs Tokunbo confused

"My darling, welcome... How was the journey? Mrs Tokunbo asked

"Fine mummy... It's nice to see you again but I am starving" she said and smiled

"Okay, let me get you something to eat" Mrs Tokunbo said as she looked at her and she kept smiling.

"Wait, what happened? Is this some kind of prank" Mrs Tokunbo said as she went inside the kitchen

PART 4

Immediately she went inside, Oyinade sighed and said "Thank God, it worked because I am not ready to answer any questions"

"But for how long, will I keep pretending" She thought as Mrs Tokunbo came out with her food

"Thank you mummy" Oyin said and collected the food from her

"I hope lectures have been going fine? And I believe you don't skip your classes" Mrs Tokunbo asked and smiled

"No mummy, I don't. Though, it hasn't been easy but I am putting more effort to make you and daddy proud" Oyin said and smiled

"That's my baby girl. So what happened earlier, when I called you? You were crying...what is the problem? Mrs Tokunbo asked and oyinade stopped eating

She thought of what to say but, she could not find a suitable answer and she said "Nothing mummy. What about daddy? It's been long I heard from him"

"Oyinade, daddy is fine. He went on a business trip and he is on his way home" she said and smiled

"Ooh...that's good. I hope to receive a lot of goodies from him" Oyinade said and smiled.

She was trying to change the topic but it was too late as, Mrs Tokunbo got her idea

"Oyinade mi...why are you trying to deviate our conversation. It shows you are truly hiding something from me. Tell me, what is it? Mrs Tokunbo asked

"Mummy nothing is wrong with me, I am fine. Probably, I cried because I miss you and daddy so much..." Oyinade said and sneered.

"You know what, I understand you perfectly. I will advise you to rest. We will discuss in the evening when daddy comes back" Mrs Tokunbo said

"But mummy, I am fine" Oyin said and smiled falsely

"Yes, I know you are fine and I hope you packed some clothes because you are leaving here on Monday morning" Mrs Tokunbo said

"Yes ma" oyinade said

"Good! I want to do something's in the room. You just enjoy yourself" Mrs Tokunbo said as she smiled and went inside

"Oyin, you missed this opportunity. You should have just told her the truth....Well, I will do that in the evening" Oyinade soliloquizes

 *Few Minutes Later,*

"Am home!!! Anyone at home? Mr Tokunbo said as he entered, dragging his box.

Oyinade gets up and ran towards him as she greeted and collected the box from him
