When words feel distant and my heart feels cold
Prayer seems impossible and a weight to hold
Doubts get in and faith feels weak
How can I speak?
Prayer feels like a distant, fading surprise
The words that once flowed like a gentle stream
Now stuck, like a parched dream
The heart that once beat with fervent fire
Now feels like ice, devoid of love's sweet desire
The mind that once focused on heavenly things
Now wanders, lost, in worldly, fleeting things
The silence screams, "How can I speak?"
The words that once poured out, now seem weak to talk
The soul that once yearned for connection deep
Now feels like dust, in a spiritual sleep
But still, we search for that sacred space
Where heaven and earth entwine in a loving embrace
Where tears fall like rain, and hearts are made new
Where prayer becomes a lifeline, strong and true
In the midst of struggle, we find a way
To lift our voices, come what may
To whisper prayers, like a gentle breeze
That stirs the soul, and brings us to our knees
Where we say, "God help me"
Dear sisters,
Prayer is not just words, but a cry from the heart
A yearning for connection, a brand new start
It's the language of love, that speaks to the divine
A conversation with God, that's forever mine
So let us persevere, through the darkest night
And hold on to faith, like a beacon light
For in the silence, God's voice whispers low
"I'm with you, always, don't you know"
So let the tears fall, let the emotions rise
Let the struggle be dealt in prayers
For in the darkness, light still shines through
And prayer, waits for you
