MY COPY MATE

In one of my counseling with a lady, i asked her some questions and she could not find a suitable answer for my questions. I am sure by now, you might be thinking what would be the question. Smiles, i asked “How responsible are those you copy from? Do you meet their standard? And what have you achieved?”

This were the questions i asked her, and i am sure you would be meditating on the questions. If you are in line with me, you would notice a lot of people, like copying especially the ladies!.

You copy the lastest, the trend, the fashion, the design, etc. Do not get me wrong, i am not saying you should not have some one you look up too in every aspect of your life but why?, must we go extra mile in copying their lifestyle. Why? Think about it. Our aim is not to copy but to get transformed.

There is a difference between looking unto and copying somene. When you look unto someone, you follow the person and you make sure you get transformed to be and also be better as that person. When you copy someone, you dedicate your life as that person. Everything about that person is right, including their mistakes.

Even as you look unto someone, your aim is to get transformed not copying. This can be achieved by the choice of people you look unto. How responsible and life impacting are they? We need to play our roles by following responsible and life changing people to get transformed, not copying lifestyle.

If we keep copying people's lifestyle, how far would this world be? Have you thought about it? It would all be the same no difference. The trinity layed a good example, if you are conversant with your bible. Jesus made sure people did not get transformed to be only like him, but also his father(God). He did not copy lifestyle, he was looking unto God to get transformed. So also, he did in the lives of people.

Beyond the lastest, the fashion, the trend, etc. Seek for responsible and impactful people. Observe their lifestyle beyond their dressing, and make sure it is transforming you.

If you do not have a responsible and impactful person you look unto, you would end up copying because you would want to meet their standard but a responsible and impactful person, you would want to learn, get transformed and know more. This should be your aim.

GOD SLOWS YOU DOWN

​ Sometimes God slows you down so He can show you what you were too busy to notice.  There was a season in my life when everything felt like it was moving backwards. Plans that once flowed easily began to stumble. Doors I thought would open effortlessly suddenly became heavy. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
