THE GATHERING


Damilola kept telling Tolu her experience at the gathering. Making Tolu feel annoyed because she could not understand how wonderful the gathering was, but she could feel it in her words and expression.

Tolu was glad that she could see her sister, full of happiness and Joy. Then she knew it was not from this world. Something could have happened, “What could have happened? This was the question flowing through her mind but nevertheless, she knew it was something good.

Tolu is a busy woman, she works at Eko Hotel and Suites. As their manager, her mind is always pre-occupied with a lot of things but not to busy to notice her sister, as she just came back from work. “Hello sis”, she said with a smile. Dami replied “Hello blood” as she was walking towards her direction.

Sister, i would love you to follow me to the gathering today. Tolu was so suprised and she replied“ I am tired dami, i can not go anywhere. Moreover, i still have a lot of things to attend to. I cannot go dear” but Dami did not stop persuading her and making her see reasons, why she should be there because she perceived she needed it most.

Tolu finally agreed to follow her and promised not to dtay long. “No problem”, dami said as she hugged her sister for following her.

On getting to the gathering, Tolu was amazed at what her eyes met and she asked “ Is this the gathering, you have been talking about. she was expecting it to be a  party, club, hang out, etc but it was a church!.“ You could have told me you are bringing me to a church, Dami i am disappointed” but Dami replied “Though, physically it is a church but i do not see that, i only saw the gathering. It is possible to be in the church and not be among the gathering” she said as they located a seat in the gathering, and they stayed till the end.

On their way home, Tolu thanked her sister for taking her to the gathering because she was really impacted. Some weeks later, she kept telling others about her experience about the gathering because she was healed from her health crisis, she had been struggling with it for years and also the new joy she found. A lot of testimonies of back up.

Whenever you get to a church, let us not be used to the building alone but the Gathering!. It is the gathering that determines the presence, not the building of the church. Do not determine the effectiveness of a church, by its building and name.

Matthew 18:20: Where two or three are gathered together in his name, there he is in their midst. The bible did not say where two or three are in the church!. Note the word Gathered

God is always in the midst of the gathering of those that call on his name in unity, love, peace, etc. Not a gathering full of hatred, jealousy, pride, anger, fornicators, etc.

Check your gathering, the gathering has to do with people. It determines the presence of God. *Never neglect, the gathering of the saints for the building and name of the church.*

How is the gathering in your church? Spread this around to save our people from polluted gathering because there is a lot you can achieve and gain.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me..
