MERCY


 *EPISODE ONE* 

“Dear lord, I pray that all my request be granted in Jesus name . Restore……. Mercy couldn’t finish the last statement, when her mother called her

“Ma, I am coming”, she screamed from her room as she quietly ended her prayers and stepped out.

“What have you been doing in the room? And why are you indoor? Mother asked suspiciously

“Probably, she is back to the game” her father said without allowing her utter any word.

“No sir, I am not playing any game. I don’t even have a battery to waste on game sir” Mercy said curiously

“Common dear, we all know the game we are talking about and it’s not until we call it by the name please, don’t embarrass us again. Moreover, think about your younger ones. They all depend on you, don’t disgrace us again” Her mother said as tear were dripping from her face.

“Mummy…. Daddy, I thought you have forgotten this issue and it’s all in the past. Can’t you guys trust me again? Mercy said as she was crying.

“My daughter, it’s not like that o, once bitten twice shy. We just want to be sure that everything is fine with you again and there is no cause for alarm” Her father said sympathetically.

“ You see Mercy, it’s our duty to see you are doing fine and to guide you so that history won’t repeat itself’ Mother said as she moved closer to her

“But why don’t you leave that to God since he sees and knows everything.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up. This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay. A daily reminder That you have made it so far already, That you haven't given up, And you are going to be amazing. Don't give up. Keep holding on and believing.  It's a start of a new year and it's too early to feel pressured or insecure God cannot fail you, Be persist in that Job hunt Be persist in trusting God  Be expectant, don't loose guard  Everything will fall in place...
