MERCY

 *EPISODE 14* 

Her mother realized her words were too harsh on her but she needed such words once in a while, she thought as she went inside..

Few minutes later, her mother came out and called her to assist her in the kitchen. Just as she came out of the room, she heard a knock on the door. She went to open the door and it was her dad.

“Welcome sir” she greeted him and closed the door

“Why is your phone off? her father asked her as his wife stepped out to greet him

“Oh! Honey I didn’t know you will be back from office so soon. How was work? He asked her as they hugged each other

“Yes, I never expected it too. Work was great and yours? She asked

“Great so back to you mercy, why is your phone switched off? He asked facing her

“I forgot to charge my phone. The battery is low” Mercy said

“So, why didn’t you charge it? He asked

“I couldn’t charge it because i was sleeping” Mercy said frankly and as he was about to say some words her mother interrupted

“My dear… why don’t you go inside first, change and come to eat. Dinner will be ready soon” her mother said.

“Hmmm…. you better talk to her. If she is behaving like this because of my refusal to go to Enugu state for service. She might never go for service. When did she start disrespecting and talking to me anyhow” He said as he hissed and went inside.

Her mummy began to talk to her as she walked quietly to her room and her mother went to meet her husband inside her room.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement.
