Episode 13 The driver closed his eyes as he drove towards the men. Suddenly, all they could hear was “Gbaoh”. It was an accident, the bus tumbled and fell inside a hole. During the tumbling process,  some flew out of the window and Mr Alabi was among those that flew out. People who saw what happened, started wailing, shouting and crying. Mr Abu who was also a driver at the garage, noticed the expression on people's face as he was driving. He was trying to look for the reason for their expression. Immediately, the colour of the bus that had an accident,  caught his attention. He parked his bus and his passengers kept shouting, he ignored them and moved closer to the bus. “How did it happened ” he asked but nobody replied. Episode 12 Mr Alabi was in the bus going to Lagos and as they were about to leave, the driver passed a note asking them to fill their bio data. He started the car and drove pass the garage. Mr Alabi picked his phone to call his wife. He told her he was on his way home. “By this time, can't you sleep over” his wife replied. “You know I cannot trade couple service for anything, I have to be in church and I have to prepare for other things. Take care, bye” he said and quickly hanged the call. He did that to stop her from persuading him to stay. Getting to Ile-Ife, the driver started sleeping and everything became blurry to him. Everyone at home was ready to welcome the lagosian because he stay at Lagos. They always see people from Lagos as an extraordinary big people. He got home safely and the wedding was great. It would definitely change his mindset and the Bible says we should study the word for the renewal of our mind. Episode 8 Tolani almost cried her eyes out, she loves her brother. David could not stop crying seeing the wounds all over his body. Episode 6 Tolani was at a corner crying and as mama was about to stand up to meet her, she ran to her room and lock the door. “What kind of life is this? What kind of family is this? Episode 5 Ko ko ko, the sound that woke mama up. Episode 4 “Is it a sin for her mom to come to her school” Kunle, the funniest student of Miss Abosede asked. “Well that because it was the first time her mum would come to her school when it's not a PTA meeting” Miss Abosede replied with a grin face. Episode 3 It was another week in the city of Lagos, Ojodu Berger precisely. As usual mom and dad has gone to work, Tolani and her siblings are in school.  Grandma comes often and the house help get changed every year. Mama was not around to witness all those moments of beatings but thank God,  mama was around that evening it happened again. It was not only Mrs Alabi(Tolani's mum) that was beaten, mama was also included when she was trying to help her daughter. (Tolani's dad parents had died) What an abomination. Tolani and her siblings could not take it anymore as David ran to stop his dad from hitting his mum and mama. Episode 2 Growing up was not fun for Tolani. The older she gets, the higher the challenges, struggles and pain she faced. She feel bad at times that she could not get to experience a lot of things many children of her age did because of her low self esteem. Sometimes, she was surrounded by opportunities but no boldness to step in. At age 13, she became a witness to seeing her mum being battered by her father. “Wow” one of Miss Bosede student said but she intentionallh ignored him and continued with her discussion. Tolani was affected emotionally, mentally, academically because of what she experienced at home. When her father saw her scores was reducing, he became angry because he does not joke with their studies but he failed to ask what happened?  and Why she scored less.
