Episode 19

They knocked on the doctor's door and entered. “Good morning sirs” the doctor greeted. “Good morning sir” they replied and sat down.

“The nurse said you requested to see us” Mr Apata said. “You must be Mr Apata and he is.. ” he said as he pointed to Mr Abu. “Yes I am and he is Mr Abu, a friend to the driver” he replied. “Oh okay, I guess I can discuss with the both of you” the doctor said. “Sure now” Mr Abu replied as Mr Apata kept smiling.

“This Mr Abu is too forward. He too dey jump” Omega said and everyone in the class was laughing. “And Mr Apata who understood him, just kept smiling. Wise man” Kunle said and he went further “I guess it is part of the Ibos nature, they are too forward” he laughed.

Omega stopped laughing and she said “What do you mean? Kunle, you are looking for trouble o” Omega said. “Hmm, who knows if the two of you would eventually be together” Miss Abosede said as she was smiling. “God forbid” both of them said and hissed at each other.

“Well, I was just joking. I never said you would be together. Please let's not envy each other or be enemies. Remember, love doesn't not segregrate. Bible instructs us to love your neighbors as yourselves. Your neighbor does not just mean the people next to your house or closer to you. Other tribes are your neighbors. So let's love speak round okay. I love you all ” Miss Abosede said.

“We love you ma” they all replied. Kunle and Omega looked at each other and smiled. Miss Abosede smiled as she continued.

“Mr Alabi left leg had been broken and he might not be able to stand properly but, there's still chance for him, if we operate the leg and we would need his relatives to sign the document” the doctor said. Mr Abu and Mr Apata sighed. “What about the driver” Mr Apata asked.

“Hmm the driver.....

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
