ADURAGBEMI


 *PART TEN*

"In the book of (John 5:1-8), Jesus met the man at the pool of Bethesda lying there and he knew he had been there for a long time. And Jesus asked him, Do you want to become well? But he response shows that he has lost hope of recovering from his sickness. He was trying to give reasons why it was difficult for him to get healed. Having known that he had been in the condition for a long time but Jesus had compassion on him and he was healed.

This is a man who had been there for 38years with no hope of getting healed, he wasn't even a believer because the bible didn't say that. Sis Adura, don't look at how long you have been in that condition but begin to look more unto Jesus who have power over time. No matter the height of the mountain in your life, it will surely move regardless of how long it has been there. Your own miracle is coming on the way as you look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith" Pastor Jimi prayed.

"Amen" Adura shouted

"There is nothing God cannot do and I believe he has taking control. Sometimes, this can be a test of Patience and faith in God. Don't let us be moved by reaction of men, let's fix our gaze on God. I know it is not easy, that is why we need to pray that he strengthen us and I pray God continue to strengthen you in Jesus Name. More over, I will join you in prayers, we are going to be putting on our spiritual weapons and pray!!!" Pastor Jimi said and smiled.

"Amen!!! Thank you so much pastor, I really appreciate and I must say these words really lifted my soul and I am more determined to keep praying and holding unto God" she said

"Glory to God! I am glad. Please can you help me call mummy, so that we can pray together before I leave" he said.

"Okay sir" she said and went inside to call her mother

"Thank you sir for the visitation and please, where is the other brother? Mother asked as she looked around

" Mummy, he has gone. He has an important meeting to attend" Adura said

"Okay" mother said

"Can we pray? Pastor Jimi said as they held their hands in prayers.

" Thank you Jesus! Glory to God " They all chorused as they ended the pray and shared the grace

"Thank you pastor" Mother said

"Thank God mummy and also, thank you for those snacks. You really bake well" he said

"Ahhh...E se o(thank you). Now that I know you really like them, I will bake more" she said as they laughed together.

"That will be good ma. I have to be on my way now and I would also be coming more often to greet you" he said

"Alright, thank you sir" she said as they both escorted him

Getting back inside, her mother said "I really like him, I don't just know why. Apart from the fact that he is handsome, kind and adorable. He is also spiritual and I pray that God grant him his heart desire" mother said

"Amen!" She shouted

"Why are you now shouting? Or do you like him? Mother asked and smiled.

" like ke...Pele eleyi toun se mi(with what is doing me). Olorun maje(God forbid), who will want to marry me. I am only grateful for the good news he brought to me " she said

"I know now, I was only joking and stop saying who will marry you. Someone will marry you by God's grace. How far with our discussion? Mother asked

" Which discussion? She asked

"About going to see baba..." Mother said

"Ahn ahn mummy, with everything we have discussed which I am sure you were hearing from the room. Me, I am not going anywhere. I cannot serve two God. Please, I really want you to support me this time. Together we can pray and fast, rather than going out to some places we are not supposed to" she said

"Okay, I know what to do. I understand you now" mother said.

"Thank you mummy" she said and hugged her.

Only if she knows the plan of her mother..

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up. This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay.
