ONE NIGHT


Episode 19

Arinola woke up before anyone else in the house as she cleaned the house. While, she was cleaning, she could hear the sound of music tracks from Funto and Ewa room.

She knew they were busy and couldn't talk to them until they open their door. She went into the kitchen to prepare what they will eat as she was singing

"You know, you should join the music department. You have an amazing voice" Ewa said as she turned back and saw both of them standing at the door entrance

"I know right. Good morning babes, how was your night rest? Hope you slept well? Arinola asked

"Yes I do" Ewa said as Funto also nodded in confirmation.

After some brief talk, they all went back to their different rooms as Funto was preparing for the bible study service. She knocked on Ewa's door when she was fully ready to leave 

"You look beautiful babe" Ewa said as she opened the door

"Thank you love. I have to go now" Funto said

"Were you able to finish your assignment? Ewa asked

"Yes" Funto said as she was already at Arin's door

"Babe, I am going for bible study service. See you later" Funto said

"Okay babe, pray for us" Arinola said as Funto smiled and left

 *Few Minutes Later,*

Arinola knocked on Ewa's door as she asked her to come in and sit down

"Can I talk to you? Or are you busy? Arinola asked as she saw her bible opened beside her

"It's fine, you can talk to me" Ewa said as she sat upright even though she was trying to figure out what she has for her

"Ewa, I can't lie to you. Something is going on in my life and I need your advise. I can't hold it anymore" Arinola said

"Okay, what's going on with you? Ewa asked as she was praying underneath her breathe

"Ewa, could you believe yesterday I slept with Banji. Like I saw myself, forcing myself on him and he couldn't resist me. I tempted him but it wasn't my fault. Ever since Jide left me, I haven't been myself and I need a man's touch. Since I had a privilege of meeting a guy yesterday, I couldn't hold myself and I had 3 rounds with him" Arinola said soberly

"Hmmm...Arinola, I knew this was the fun you talked about yesterday. You know what Arin, you need someone who loves you beyond Jide and every other person. You need Christ Arinola. You need an encounter with Him because trust me, you need His help and only Him can guide you on the way out. Why don't you give your life to Christ? Ewa said

"Ewa, I am not ready yet. Thank you, I just needed a listening ear" Arinola said and walked out of the room after some minutes

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
