BEACON


A wise person, looked into my face and told me " You are a BEACON.
You a light and cannot be hidden.
Wherever, you step into you shine and attracts men. Just hold unto Him(God) and keep being you"

I was flattered and I remembered the bible verse "Matthew 5:14:-
KJV:Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid"

Last month, there were days I was feeling low because something's were not working for me. You know that feeling of when you use to be good at something and all of a sudden, it stops working for you and you kept wondering, how did you go wrong.

That was the same feeling I had. I had people around me who motivated me and I also kept pushing. I was even at the verge of giving up but God had his plans and way. 

The same lady that was once not getting it right in the field and was about to give up was the same lady that came out as one of the top's and people are coming to ask how did you do it. I was even getting recommendation, different nicknames, etc.

While, I was thinking about everything. I remembered those that were at the top, never asked why I was low and down but all of a sudden when they realized, I was celebrated and among the top's, they now start coming to ask "How are you doing it? And I began to smile and tell them, it's God because truly I can't explain how it happened.

I was shocked because I never expected it. I know they are people better than I am there but God decided to turn it around to favor me. Then, I also remembered Vs 16 of the same chapter that says "KJV:Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven"

At that point when the people came to ask me, all they saw was me but all I saw was God because I can't explain how I got there.

Dear sister,
How do people see you are?
Are you truly standing as the light you are?
Are you at the verge of giving up?
Are you depressed and tired of how things are going?

Whatever it is, don't give up. God has created us to be a light and we must shine. At that point, where you feel like giving up. Don't give up because there's a breakthrough at the end.

You might even say, I have prayed enough and I am not praying again. Fine, why don't you go into thanksgiving. Don't just stop at prayer and end up. 

There's a reason God has placed you in that family, location, business, school, office, etc. He is always there to help us. Just keep following every of His words to you and don't give up. Keep pushing.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up.
