ONE NIGHT


Episode 35

"Hello sir, you can come in" Arinola said as she opened the door and was surprised to see Sis Faith and Motun.

"Wow...please come in" Arinola said as they all entered as they sat on the chair in the sitting room

"It's nice to be here" Faith said as she drew Arinola's attention from Pastor Theophilus face

"Thank you ma. Sir, it's nice to have you here in my house. Thank you for your daily words and counsel" Arinola said as Faith and Motun looked at themselves

"Sis Arin of God....God be praised. Do you stay alone in apartment? He asked as Ewa and Funto stepped out

"Wow...Sis Ewa and Sis....He couldn't remember her name. 

"Its Funto" Funto said and smiled. 

Motunrayo was unhappy and faith was surprised to find out they all lived in the same apartment as she hugged them.

"No, I don't live alone. These are my flat mates. Also, meet my mentor" Arinola officially announced as she looked at Ewa and Funto

"Wow...that's nice" Ewa said as Funto was speechless and pastor Theophilus couldn't stop staring at Ewa. Everyone was surprised as there was a long silence.

"Please, what will you like to eat and drink? Ewa asked as she needed to break the silence and the way Pastor Theophilus was looking at her made her uncomfortable

"Nothing for me ma. We actually came to meet Sis Arinola and we actually don't know all of you stay together but, it's fine. We are here for visitation on behalf of the church and we are glad we meet you all well. 

I hope you all have been enjoying our services and also have been blessed? We also want to know, if there's anything you want to tell us? It can be something you noticed in the service and you want us to change? Sis faith asked since Pastor Theophilus couldn't say anything.

Arinola and her friends looked at each other as they nodded in response

"Well for us, I don't think there is anything for now and I have been blessed in the services and I even had my first encounter in church" Arinola said as funto and Ewa nodded.

"Glory to God" Sis faith said as Pastor Theophilus and Motun nodded

After some minutes of waiting, Pastor Theophilus stood up and said "Shall we pray?

They all bowed their heads in prayers to pray. After the prayers, they all escorted them to the bus stop as Arinola and Theophilus had some few minutes to talk

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up. This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay. A daily reminder That you have made it so far already, That you haven't given up, And you are going to be amazing. Don't give up. Keep holding on and believing.  It's a start of a new year and it's too early to feel pressured or insecure God cannot fail you, Be persist in that Job hunt Be persist in trusting God  Be expectant, don't loose guard  Everything will fall in place...
