ONE NIGHT

Episode 28

As soon as Theophilus got home, he had his prayers and ate before doing the assignment pastor gave him. 

A flash of the moment he has with Ewa came to his mind and he began to smile.

"Hmmm...thank you Jesus" he said and sat upright. Just as he was about to start the assignment, Pastor John call came in

"Hello sir...I hope you have gotten home? Pastor John asked

"Yes sir and you? Theophilus asked

"Yes....I am now at home too. Sir, I was thinking myself, you and sis faith can go on visitation this week to the new comer and convert houses. What do you think sir? Pastor John asked

"Great idea sir. I totally support it" Theophilus said

"Alright then, have a lovely night rest" Pastor John said

"Same to you" Theophilus said as he hung the call

"Wow...thank you Jesus. This is an opportunity to see Ewa again" He said as he was smiling.

He tried to call Benjamin to know if he has gotten home but his number was not reachable. He was about to check his WhatsApp, when Motun call came in. He was reluctant to pick the call because of what Benjamin said

"Can it be true? No, it can't be" He said and he answered the call

"Hello....sis Motun. How are you doing? He asked

"Bro Theophilus, I am doing fine and I hope everything is going well? Motun asked

"Yes...everything is going great. I am so sorry, we couldn't walk together today. I and bro Benjamin just had to deal with something's" Theophilus said

"Awwwn...i didn't know you were concerned about me. Now, I understand. Thank you sir" Motun said

"Of course, we are our brothers keeper. The bible says so" Theophilus said as he smiled falsely. The thought of what Benjamin said kept playing in his mind but he avoided it and said "Sis Motun, is there anything you want to say because I am a little bit busy"

"Ooohh...I am sorry. Not really, I am just checking up on you and I wanted to know if you are home" Motun said calmly

"That's nice of you sis Motun. Yes, I am at home now. Thank you so much" Theophilus said

"Alright sir. Bye" Motun said as he hung the call

"I need to find a way to tell him" Motun said as she smiled

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
