ONE NIGHT

Episode 39

Ewa put on the light, after asking the question...

"What are you doing here? Arinola asked trying to cover up the question she asked

"Hmmm...Arinola, I know there's something you are hiding from me ever since you met with Banji. Arin, you know you can always talk to me" Ewa said

"What kind of spirit is in this lady. Why is she mentioning that stupid guy name" Arinola was lost in thought as Ewa tapped her

"Arinola.... The bible has made us understand in the book of Ephesians...."That the weapon for our battle isn't canal. You can't fight spiritual battle with a physical weapon" Ewa said 

"Ewa...please don't start this morning. I have a spiritual father now and if there's anything I need to discuss. I will tell it to him and I can also come to meet you. Thank you" Arinola said as she went inside her room.

Just as she entered the room, the thought of everything Banji did to her kept reflecting back to her. She brought out the money and began to weep as she said "Arinola, you sold yourself again for this money. You are a filthy rag and you don't deserve be called a Christian. You stain and stink" she cried out. Ewa heard her voice and ran towards the door but it was locked

"Arinola... Arinola... Arinola" Ewa kept shouting her name but she couldn't even hear as those inner voice were above hers.  Ewa entered into her room but she wasn't at peace as she sat down and interceded for her as she opened her Bible (Psalm 121 & 123)

"We shall lift up our eyes unto the hill from whence cometh our help. 
Our help cometh from the lord which made heaven and earth.
He will not allow our foot to suffer neither will he forsake us.
He that keepth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The lord is our keeper, the lord is our shed
The sun shall not smite us by day nor the moon by night.
The lord is our keeper, the lord is our shed
The sun shall not smite us by day nor the moon by night 
The lord shall preserve us from all evil and he shall preserve our soul

Unto thee I lift up mine eyes.
Beholds us in distress and have mercy upon us o lord.
Our soul is in pain, exceedingly filled with scorn
Help and revive us oh lord. Lord, I commit the soul of Arinola unto you. Help her oh Lord. Bring healing up her" Ewa prayed

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up. This is a daily reminder That you are beautiful, That you can be hardworking  That you are amazing, That you will succeed. To always have hope, To have faith, To know everything will be okay. A daily reminder That you have made it so far already, That you haven't given up, And you are going to be amazing. Don't give up. Keep holding on and believing.  It's a start of a new year and it's too early to feel pressured or insecure God cannot fail you, Be persist in that Job hunt Be persist in trusting God  Be expectant, don't loose guard  Everything will fall in place...
