DAY 7
WITNESSES
*Act 1:8*
8
AMP:But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
Sisters, our primary assignment after accepting the life of Christ, is to become a Witness of Him that we have received.
A WITNESS of Christ and His kingdom to the whole world. The Samaritan woman at the well became a WITNESS, immediately she encountered Jesus (John 4:7-30).
Vs 28- 29.
AMP:Then the woman left her water jar and went away to the town. And she began telling the people,
29
AMP:Come, see a Man Who has told me everything that I ever did! Can this be [is not this] the Christ? [Must not this be the Messiah, the Anointed One?]
She didn't wait for the next day in vs 28. Immediately, she left her water jar and went to the town to tell people about Jesus.
The same way, Jesus want us to bear witness of Him. That we won't stop telling people about the Good news. In the office, school, market, home, etc.
After our salvation, God expects us to reach out to more people and bear Him witness. Telling people about Him and how He transformed your life. It is mandatory to be a WITNESS for the kingdom of God.
How is it possible that you are the only one that has accepted the life of Christ in your family. No!...it's wrong, you have to stand as a WITNESS so that other people can have a knowledge about Him and come into the light. For light to come into that home, place, etc there must be a WITNESS and its you!
Children of God, wherever we find ourselves in any part of the world, we are to bear witness of Him that has sent us and He that we have received. I pray God help us in Jesus name... Amen!
Let's pray
*Father help me to be a WITNESS of the kingdom, wherever I find myself
*Lord help me not to be shy to tell people about you
*Strengthen me oh lord that I may continue to share the Good news wherever I find myself.
For in Jesus name, we've prayed...Amen!
God bless us!
