THE JOURNEY* 


 *Episode 8* 


Two weeks later, something grievous happened to the family of Mr and Mrs Alabi.  Mr Alabi travelled to Ondo State (his hometown), for his brother wedding.


Everyone received and welcomed the lagosian because he stays at Lagos. They saw people from Lagos as an extraordinary big people. The wedding was great, with enough resources and money and he enjoyed himself.


He called out his brother and informed him, he was going back home. His brother did not agree as he urges him to leave tomorrow morning but he was impatience and insisted to go back that day. 


"Who am i to disobey you or argue with you? I believe you have planned it well before coming. Moreover, your wife would be waiting for you at home. So, I partially agree you should go" His brother finally said.


He went to the family house to greet his relatives and he carried his bag as he headed towards the garage. 


"Let me guess, Mr Alabi does not like traveling home with his car? Kunle asked.


"Before nko, who would travel home with his/her car. When they are witch and wizard in the village" Omega, the girl with the bladed mouth replied.


Kunle was angry and he said "Who asked for your opinion, razor blade mouth".


Miss Bosede knows she had to say something, to stop them from blustering each other.


"It's okay Kunle. Any words from you again, you would leave the class" she said and continued.


Mr Alabi was already in the bus going to Lagos. As they were about to leave, the driver passed a note, asking them to fill their bio data.

Mr Alabi picked his phone to call his wife; he told her he was on his way home. 


"By this time, can't you sleep over" His wife replied.


"You know, I cannot trade couple service for anything. I have to be in church and I have to prepare for other things. Take care, bye" He said and quickly hanged the call. He did that to stop her from persuading him to stay. 


Getting to Ile-Ife, the driver started sleeping and everything became blurry to him. One of the passengers sitting at the front row, noticed the movement of his head and shouted, the rest of them, was wondering what happened.


"Baba, e tin sun (You are sleeping)" she said and others, begged the driver not to sleep. The driver became speechless as he cleaned his face with his handkerchief.  


As he was driving, two guys ran from the bush to the road. They were standing akimbo, looking at their bus. 


"Are they armed robbers? Kunle asked. Miss Abosede ignored as she continued.            


Everyone in the bus became afraid. Mr Alabi who was sitting at the back, beside the window quickly closed the glass and he checked the time 12:00am. Prayer was far away from his mind, as he bowed his head.


They were still trembling at the sight of the men who refused to leave the road and their bus was getting closer to them. Shortly, they noticed a trailer running with speed, and it seems it to be affected with brake failure as the driver was waving his hand. 


"Is it a one way road? John asked.


"Yes it is Miss Abosede replied.


"Wow" he said, as he placed his hands on his head.


Everyone in the bus became more confused. The driver was not sure if he should hit the men, dodge the trailer or, pass in between them. To dodge the trailer, he has to hit the men.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm.
