THE JOURNEY OF LIFE


 *THE ACCIDENT* 


 *Episode 9* 


The driver closed his eyes, as he drove towards the men. Suddenly, all they could hear was Gbaoh.


It was an accident; the bus tumbled and fell inside a hole. During the tumbling process, some flew out of the window and Mr Alabi was among them.


People, who saw what happened, started wailing, shouting and crying.


Mr Abu, who was also a driver at the garage, was driving along the road and noticed the expression on people's face. He was trying to look at the reason for their expression and immediately, the colour of the bus that had an accident, got his attention. He parked his bus and his passengers kept shouting as he ignored them and moved closer to the bus.


"How did it happen? He asked but nobody replied.


He moved to the back of the bus, to check the plate number and suddenly, he fell on the ground. He cried and everyone diverted their attention towards him, as they suspect he was related to the driver.


"Who are you to him? One of the people standing asked. 


"He is my intimate friend" he replied


"Ahhhhhhhh" everyone chorused together.


Miss Abosede paused to see their reactions. They were all looking sad but Kikelomo was crying. She moved closer to her and immediately, she stood up and ran out of the class


"Something is definitely wrong with this girl” Ronke said and the class replied "Yes"


Mr Abu stood up, he went closer to the bus and he noticed the broken windows but he couldn't find the driver and Mr Alabi. He saw traces of blood on the glass to the ground.


Mr Abu traced the blood, and he found Mr Alabi lying hopelessly on the ground in a pit filled with water. He shouted out for assistance and the people ran towards him. They tried to put him on his feet, but he couldn't stand. 


Mr Abu was so passionate to find his friend; as he left Mr Alabi with the others and went after him. He went deep into the bush, but couldn't find him. He was tired and was about to sit for a while, when he heard the sound of footsteps


"Who is that? He asked and there was no reply.


"Who are you? He asked again but, there was no reply again. Then, he decided to trace the person..


Finally, he found the person but unfortunately for him, he only saw the back view and checking from the lower limbs, it looks like that of a man. He followed him carefully, until his phone rang. While he was trying to pick his phone, it fell down as he bends down to pack it and immediately, he remembered the man. He stood up, looked left and right but he couldn't find him anymore. 


"Mr Abu, Mr Abu, Mr Abu" One of the men he left with Mr Alabi shouted, as he was running towards him.


He was afraid as he answered "Wetin happen?.


"We saw one man, come and see if he is your friend" The man said. He rushed and followed him to check. 


Getting there, he noticed the back view look exactly like the man he saw. 


"What is going on? Omega asked.


Nobody replied her as Miss Abosede continued. 


Finally, he saw his face and it was his friend.


"He had been roaming around like a mad man" One of Mr Abu passenger said. 


Then, he realized he had delayed his passengers. He apologized, as he stopped an empty bus for them and paid their Transport fare. After they had gone, he moved closer to the man and he saw it was his friend.


Mr Abu cried because, he couldn't recognize him anymore and he was also behaving like a mental patient. Everyone became scared as they were moving back and some had sticks with them, as protection. He saw blood dripping from his head, as he moved closer to him and there was also Mr Alabi, lying hopeless.


"Hmmm, what is going to happen now? Aduke one of the students asked.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement.
