*A NEW CHALLENGE*

   _Episode 4 _

Mrs Alabi ignored her as she focused on the girl beside her

"Who is she? she asked.

"She is my sit partner" Tolani replied.

"Can this be true the statement" Mrs Alabi uttered.

No one understood as Mrs Catherine, Tolani and Bimbo kept wondering what was going on.

"What happened? the principal said but as Mrs Alabi was about to answer, Tolani interrupted by saying she wanted to escort Bimbo.

Mrs Alabi drew Mrs Catherine hands in a manner that made her think, she was mentally disturbed.

"I just saw Tolani with somebody" Mrs Alabi said.

"Is anything wrong with that? The principal asked.

“Is she a lesbian? Kunle, one of Miss Abosede student asked and everyone was curious to know.

" No" Miss Abosede said and she continued.

"Tolani had not been with anyone since I gave birth to her, it was just her and her family. She is always on her own, she does not really relate with everyone at home. She loves sitting at a corner. Seeing her with someone meant a lot to me, I know i have not been there for her but I want to make things right. I know she can still improve" Mrs Alabi said feeling sad.

After everything she said, Mrs Catherine felt her pain and was ready to help.

"I would try my best" she replied.  Mrs Alabi felt relieved and as she raised her face to thank her, Tolani had almost gotten near her.

Quickly, she said thank you and she moved forward to meet her. She held her hand as they headed home. Their house was in front of the school.    
                     
“Ko ko ko”, the sound that woke mama up. She got up from the bed to the sitting room and called Silver (the house help) to open the door.

"Mama, since I have been knocking" Mrs Alabi said as she entered.

"Ma binu omo mi (Do not be angry my child)" Mama pleaded and she said "Silver was in the back yard washing and I was also sleeping, I woke up at the sound of your knock. Moreover, did you go to Tolani school because i can see you came in with her? Mama asked

"Yes I did, I went to settle somethings" She said.

"Okay. I thought she did something wrong" mama said.

"No o and please mama where is David and Ibukun? She asked.

"Ehn ehn... that reminds me, David teacher came here and she said he did something bad" Mama said with a serious look.

“What did he do? She asked and Tolani who was doing something else stopped and faced them.

"David was caught stealing and he is presently in the principal office. They await your arrival in the school" Mama said and she shouted

"No, David cannot steal, he has never done that. Haa...What is going on..."She said as she was weeping and rolling herself on the floor.

Mama moved closer to her and said "Instead of you crying, get up now and go to his school. I am sure they are waiting for you"

Immediately, she stood up wiped her tears with her hands and moved towards the door. She was almost at the door when mama called her back.

"You did not wear your shoes" Mama said

She looked down and saw that she truly did not wear it. She wore it and went her way.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. Keep holding on and believing.  It's a start of a new year and it's too early to feel pressured or insecure God cannot fail you, Be persist in that Job hunt Be persist in trusting God  Be expectant, don't loose guard  Everything will fall in place...
