ARE YOU READY?

“Am I ready” Bola asked herself as she sat down. She just got back from a program. She has been attending lots of programs but deeply wanted her, she wanted to know if she is truly ready. Several times has she fallen under the anointing, God has shown her several revelations, words for her ministry and generation but she really want to be sincere with herself. Am I ready? She asked again.  Just like Bola, many of you have list of things you ought to do before the end of the year, but you couldn't. And as you are entering into the year of 2020, you need to ask yourself that question, Are you ready?  Are you ready to take a step into the vision God has given you?  Are you ready to move from the stage you are to where God wants you?  Are you ready to launch that idea God has given you?  Are you ready to leave that relationship that always lead you to sexual immorality? Are you ready to leave that adulterous attitude?  Are you ready to start reading that books?...

TIED

“ Help, I need help, I can't move on from the stage I am. I am tired of being stagnant. I cannot see the bond physically and I cannot feel the bond spiritually. All my colleagues and friends are archiving all their heart desires but I am here, unable to move, unable to join them and enjoy the freedom of life God has chosen for me.  Everything never seems to progress, this is not the kind of life I deserve. Where have I missed it? What have I done wrong? I have prayed and fasted but nothing seems to change. I was asked to wait for the appointed time Jesus would come to meet me. I am waited, I am still waiting but I don't think I can wait anymore. Where is my appointed time?  Yes, I am a Christian and I know I am supposed to trust and depend on God but all my prayers and effort to loose myself and move, isn't working and I am loosing my patience ” Elizabeth said as she cried out loud. To everyone in this situation, I know it's not easy when you have tried all your capacit...

COMMITMENT

“Do you know what it feels trying to make a relationship work, trying to give men another chance to love after several heart breaks but still, the pain and effort aren't visible. Instead, he cheated on me after all I have gone through which he knows about, I cannot go on. I just want to stay on my own and I am scared if I go into another one, I can't trust him and also be committed nor be submissive to him” Kemisola said.  “Your is better, I grew up knowing my father as a wife beater. I grew up in a family that everything would be going fine but suddenly, all we would hear is the sound of noise, arguments, nagging which were birthed from Anger. I grew up in a family, where we all dislike our father and pray for him to go somewhere far, far away from sight and we would be happy. I grew up in a family where we could not trust our father, neither any man. I grew up in a family which killed my passion for home as I couldn't boost to marry someone like my father, a man who ought...

DO NOT BLAME THE CHILD

*PART TWO* Hmm... I am sure everyone is thinking, who else is to be blamed? You do not understand what is going on with them because you are never in their position. Think about it, if you are in their position, who then is to be blamed? Who is to blame you? Answer these questions within you. Sometimes, we blame the wrong people and mostly the blame are on the subjects. Adeola grew up with the mindset of not getting married. I know most people would blame her since its her mindset but have forgotten to check the reason behind such mindset. She hated her father and judged every other guys the same way. This mindset of hers was imbibed by the home she came from and what she experienced from her parent. Many other children are out there suffering from their wrong experience from homes and all we keep doing is blaming them and not providing a solution for them. Know the motives behind the reason. Blame!... This has caused a lot of damage to the child because all they hear is accusatio...

SILENCE

“Forever, the pain had made me hidden. I could not talk about it to anybody, neither did my closest friend knew about it but it was a pity that my mother who knew about it, joined the association of shutting the voice. How could my mother, be part of those who ended my future and dreams just because of her selfish interest. Everyday of my life, I grew with my voice shut. MY REFLECTION

Anu was 15years old, when she had been living with a wrong mindset because of her struggles, challenges and experience and it keeps depriving her of moving forward. “Each day kept coming and what she saw, was a broken girl that is not perfect and would never be. The girl that people want her to be” she said, as she was discussing with her interviewer. Then, she taught about her life and how she could not look at the mirror because, all she saw was a failure but was determined to change. “How was she going to change? Yes to some extent, she believed in God. How can she get over this wrong mindset of mine?” These are questions Anu asked herself. As she was flipping through the bible, she saw the scripture that talks about Royal Priesthood in 1Peter 2:9. Then, she asked herself “Does that means she was made for royality? Why would God see her as a royal person despite her filthiness, her stain, her rag, etc. She could not really consentrate on what she wa...

Others approaches us with doubt and discouragement. Some attack us with panic, pains, despair and depression. Others advance on us with fear. Some scream at us that we are good for nothing. We all have our gaints that we need to overcome. We face them day to day but don't let them defeat you. Focus more on God. Whatever battles you may face...

A lot of Christians are hiding underneath the church clothes, they use spirituality to cover a lot of things that we cannot even know if anything is wrong with them because all we see is good, pleasing and vibrant. So we don't even no if they are passing through any challenges. As a believer,it is very essential we have the spirit of discernment and be sensitive enough to know if our people are truly fine because behind everything fine, it is either a good or bad feelings. A lot of brothers and sisters in the church are going through things that some of them feel ashamed of telling people because they know the respond they could get from people. Let's be watchful of what we say to people because we don't know who is keeping records of them. Let's learn to say words of encouragement to whosoever that may come our ways to explain their challenges. Shola the man behind th...
