THE KING'S DELIGHT


Part Six

Arìké was singing and rejoicing, all through her way to the farm. She met several people, who greeted her. She was loved by the people of the village. Though, there are people who doesnt like her for any reason, but she didn't look down on anyone. She respected everyone, both the old and young.

Getting to the farm, she packed enough sticks that will sustain her, for a long period of time. As she stepped out of the farm, she met Adigun.

"What a coincidence! He said as he approached her

"Adigun, what are you doing here? Have you been following me? She asked

"No, why will I follow you. I came here to clear my father's farm and we meet. I think God orchestrated our steps" he said and smiled

"Hmmm...Ehn ehn, that reminds me about our last discussion. You said you have been studying lately. So, I believe something prompted you. Can you tell me more? She said as they were walking

Firstly, let me assist you with the firewood he said

"No, please let me carry it. Let us assume you did not see it. So, I am waiting to hear from you" she said

"Okay...God encountered me, through his words. It was something beyond my imagination and explanation. I didn't even know where or how to start" he said

"Hmmm..Just start from somewhere" she said as they walked out of the farm land. Many children who saw her, offered to assist her but she refused and thanked them.

"You see, people will think I am not a gentleman but they won't know I offered to assist you" he said as he was looking for a way to divert her attention

"Adigun.... Can you stop bothering about what people think about you and let's concentrate, I am listening" she said

"Hadassah....my encounter with God, came in a powerful way. It happened one night, the night I decided to take my life serious as I sang worship, praise and prayed to God. As I was about to study, I told myself David (his other name), you must grow in the knowledge of God. I prayed to God to reveal himself to me and also open the eyes of my understanding as I was about to study.

After studying, I decided to ease myself before going to sleep. I came back to my bed and as I was about to sleep, I felt presence of two people who held my hands down to the bed. As the bible before me kept opening, it was a strange encounter a4nd God opened my eyes to see some scriptures in the bible.

It was an angelic visitation, I could not sleep all through that night as I began to pray and weep. I am glad I took that decision for my growth" he said as he was weeping.

"Hmmm...Thank God for the encounter. I am so much interested in this discussion, and I will want you to come tomorrow afternoon so we can discuss better. It is getting late and I need to go inside, Baami is waiting for me" Arìké said and they waved to each other as she went inside.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up.
