THE KING'S DELIGHT


Part Eleven

Now, it was time for the beautiful young virgins to appear before the King. They were called in one by one.

Those that went before Arìké, came out crying because they were rejected by the king. Arìké was scared and the remaining one after her was also scared but she kept praying.

"It is your turn Arìké" Madu said to her. She asked for her advice as she was about to go in.

Everyone who saw her favored her as she was taken into the King's palace. Immediately the king saw her, he was attracted to her more than any of the other women. He quickly set the Royal crown on her head and made her queen because she pleased him.

The king made a great feast and they all rejoiced. Her father was happy when he heard the news as he was sitting at the King's gate. Arìké wished to introduce him as her Father, to the king but she remembered what he told her. 

The whole village heard about the news as they rejoiced with her. Adigun and his friends were surprised.

"Imagine, see the way God lifted Arìké. Who would have taught that Arìké of yesterday will become the King's wife now" musa said as Adigun was crying. He apologized to musa for what he said to him the other day, as he finally realized his mistake

"My friend, no problem but I think it's high time we take our life serious and be intentional about God" musa said

"Yes, it's high time. Who knows if I was serious then, Arìké would be mine and not the king. You know I really love Arìké and I am stupid for playing with her" Adigun said painfully

"No, you are not stupid. If we had understood somethings earlier, we would have taken the right step. Moreover, if Arìké was yours, she wouldn't have become the King's wife. What God says is for you, won't leave you" Ogidan said

"That's true. Now, we have to go to her Father tomorrow morning and set things right" Adigun said

"Yes" musa said as they all hugged each other and went to their various home..

The next day, they all went to Arìké's house and fortunately for them, they came when her father was teaching the people. They sat down to hear the word. At the end of the teaching, he made an altar call and they all stepped out. He prayed for them

After everyone had gone, they went to meet him.

"Sir, I didn't know the Bible study will still go on because Arìké is now the Queen. If not, we would have come earlier" Adigun said

"Why not? One thing Arìké will say is that, the work of God cannot be on hold. There is still more to fulfill" he said

"Hmmm...Thank you sir for the message. I was blessed and we are ready to be useful for Christ" musa said and they all nodded in affirmation

"Glory to God. Heaven rejoice for another soul has been added to the kingdom. Moreover, Queen Arìké, will be glad to hear this because she has never stopped praying for the people" he said

"Thank you daddy. We will like to take our leave and if you need us for anything, we will be available" Adigun said

"Oh...E se omo mi(Thank you my children) that's so thoughtful of you all. Make sure you always come for Bible study, and keep praying and studying. Make yourself occupied with God. Let him fill every of your heart and he will set your path right. I hope you guys have a bible? He asked

" No Sir" Ogidan said and he went inside to bring one, for each of them and he prayer for them and they left.

Hope you haven't given up on the assignment God gave you, just because you have seen a better or great work or because you have arrived at a high position?

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement.
