THE KING'S DELIGHT


Part 13

When his people saw Sean (Arìké father), they also put on sack cloth with ashes and they weep

"Olori (Queen), something is happening in this palace" one of her maid said

"What is happening? Arìké asked

"There is a man outside, who has refused to leave since morning. He is putting on sackcloth with ashes, it looks like a rag" her maid said

"Really, who is the man? And how does he look like? Arìké asked passionately and they described him.

Immediately, Arìké become uncomfortable. She knew it was her father. She got some clothes and sent her maid, to give him to put on and with the order to take off his sack cloth from him but he didn't accept them

When the maid told her that he didn't accept the cloth, she knew something was troubling him as she summoned for Adeoye, one of the king guards who was assigned to her

"Please, can you help me find out what is wrong with the man outside in front of the gate and why?

" Okay ma" Adeoye said and went to meet him.

"Sir, the Queen said I should ask what is wrong and why you appeared like this? Adeoye said

"Someone has decided to pay into the Royal treasury, to destroy all my people. This is a copy of the letter, you can show it to her and explained as being told. Also, help me instruct her to go into the King's presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for the sake of the people" he said

"Alright sir. The Queen will be informed" Adeoye said and went inside. He explained everything to Arìké

Help me tell me that I said "Everyone in the palace knows that, anyone who approaches the king in the court without being called, will face the law which is to be put to death. Unless if the king extends his staff, to such person and spare the life of the person but as for me, I haven't been called to come into the king room" 

"Alright ma" Adeoye said and went.

After explaining everything to him, he said angrily "Tell her not to think that she will escape because, she is in the King's palace. For if she thinks she will keep silent, the deliverance of the people will rise from another place but she will perish. Who knows, if that is the reason she was made the Queen, to save the people. If she doesnt rise, God will use another person"

"Alright sir" Adeoye said. He told her everything he said.

Arìké was confused because he hasn't talked to her in such manner.

"What will I do" she thought for a while

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement.
