THE KING'S DELIGHT


Part 17/18

Arìké father was still at the King's gate, he wanted to know the outcome of the dinner.

The king and Hassan came to the Queen dinner, and as they were drinking wine after the dinner, the king again asked Arìké "What is your wish, Queen Arìké? And what is your request? Is shall be granted"

Then she answered as she knelt down "If I have found favor in your sight, O king and if it pleases the king. Let my life be granted me for my wish and the safety of my people for my request.

For I and my people have been sold, to be destroyed, killed and humiliated. Please, my king! Save us" 

"Ta leni na (Who is the person), Ta loto se ru e (Who has dared to do this?) The king asked angrily

"It's a foe and enemy! It is this wicked man here, Hassan" Arìké said and pointed to him. 

Hassan becomes terrified before the king and Queen.

"Iwo ni (It is you)" the king said as he was surprised. 

The king rose up in anger, and went inside the palace but Hassan stayed behind, to beg the Queen. Shortly after, the king came outside to the place where they had dinner as Hassan was almost falling on the seat Arìké sat, while begging

"Will you also molest the Queen in my presence, in my palace? King said

"No, kabiyesi (king)" Hassan said as he was embarrassed

Then one of the King's guards who had gone to bring Hassan from his house, spoke up to help the king execute him "My king, there is a pole set up in Hassan and he had set it up for Sean, who saved you from the two officers who planned to kill you".

Then the king said " Hang him on it" Hassan pleaded as the guards carried him home and they hanged him on it. His friends and wife, cried and pleaded but the king didn't listen to them. Until he died, then the king was satisfied

Arìké told everything to her father, who was very happy.

"Our enemy has been defeated" Arìké father said as he went home to inform the people. They danced and praised God

"Oluwa seun o (Thank God o)" Adigun said as he and his friends led the people in praise and worship.

Arìké also went inside her room, and began to praise and worship God with the women in the palace.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg.
