THE KING'S DELIGHT


Part Eight

 Adigun got to Arìké's house. Arìké told her father about him and he wasn't fully in support but he gave her the chance to talk with him...

"Ko ko ko" Adigun knocked

"Tani yen? (who is that?) Arìké asked as she moved closer to the door

"It's Adigun" he said and adjusted his cloth.

"Oh,Adigun" she said and opened the door. He entered and was surprised to see her father, as he greeted him

"Daddy, this is Adigun and Adigun, this is my father" she did a brief introduction

"Ahh...I know daddy" Adigun said and smiled

"I also know Adigun, he is one of the hardworking youth in this village" her father said

"Thank you Sir" he said and prostrated

"Baami, I have to get something in my room" Arìké said as she went inside.

"Adigun, you know, hard work without God in the equation is effortless. Do you know God? He asked

" Yes sir, I even had an encounter with him last week " Adigun said boldly

"Adigun, I am not asking about an encounter. Do you know God? He asked as Arìké came out of the room

"Baami, we will be outside. If you need anything, call me" she said as he joyfully stood up

"Alright but Adigun, think about what I said" He said and they stepped out

"What did baami ask you? She asked as they sat outside

"It is a man to man discussion, do not bother" he said and smiled

"Okay o, concerning yesterdays discussion. What have you been doing after the encounter? Arìké asked

"I have been preaching the word just as Christ instructed us in the word (mark 16:15)" he said

"Wow, that is good. I will love you to be our guest speaker today, for our Bible study. I am always happy and glad, when I see people who are passionate about Christ" she said

"Wow...you mean I will be speaking to the people today? He asked

" Yes, any problem? She asked

"No, not really. Just that, I have to attend to my father's work at home" he said

"No problem, you can go. The Bible study actually starts by 3pm and this is just 11am. I believe before then, you will be through with everything. Am I right? She asked

" Yes, thank you very much. I have to go now, I will see you in the afternoon" he said and left

(Ezekiel 13) just like God addressed the issue of fake prophet. Ladies, you need to be careful of fake brother. Encounter and knowing the word alone does not make you spiritual. Spirituality is not based on mere looks and how many Bible verses you know. 

You need to know if he is born again, his love for God, etc. Moreover ladies, you need to be more sensitive. Remember the devil also know the word.

THE JOURNEY

Last 2 year, I started a journey on my health and I'm grateful. Even though I wasn't consistent especially after the coaching session but I had to strive to ensure the journey continues even though I fall, I still get myself back  Imagine being a lover of heels and you can't wear it for too long Having to sweat profusely, Having knee ache pains, Sewing new dresses because you can't wear your favorite dress Imagine lot's more because of weight gain, That was me.. Before you go further and think it's only food that cause weight gain.  Mine wasn't, I could say it was stay at home, free hands and no stress kind of reason (I don't know how best to put it) I know I'm not a slim person but I was already weighing 110kg. Lolz, 2 bags of cement. A DAILY REMINDER

I know you are going through all shades of different phase, I know you are thinking of what next, I know the hardship is tough and you feel your strength is failing but, This is a reminder To relax, To not get angry over small things, To stay calm. A daily reminder To be yourself, To not care what people think, To know you can be anything. To love yourself, To not hurt yourself, To not work yourself up.
